About the Role
Luster National is seeking a detail-oriented Risk Cost Analyst to support financial and risk management for a transformative infrastructure initiative. This full-time, long-term, on-site role is based in Sacramento, California, and offers the opportunity to connect engineering, finance, and project controls to ensure cost and risk strategies align with the scale of a world-class high-speed rail program.
Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing project cost and risk to support decision-making and planning
- Support the development and maintenance of risk cost models and related reporting
- Collaborate with project controls and finance teams to align risk and cost strategies
- Help track assumptions, drivers, and key metrics that impact forecasted outcomes
- Contribute to ongoing documentation and status updates for stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience supporting cost, forecasting, or risk analysis (project controls preferred)
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams and structured reporting
- Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
- Proficiency with common business/analysis tools (as applicable to the role)
