About Avride
Avride is a U.S.-based autonomous transportation company headquartered in Texas. We build and operate autonomous cars and delivery robots, and since 2017 we’ve developed deep expertise in autonomous systems. Today, in partnership with Uber, we operate a fleet of robotaxis in Dallas, Texas.
About the Role
As a Safety Driver, you’ll operate Avride autonomous vehicles (robotaxis) in the downtown Dallas area using the Uber platform. Your focus is on maintaining safe, reliable rides while supporting testing and meeting high safety standards. This role is based out of our Irving, Texas office.
Responsibilities
- Drive and monitor Avride autonomous vehicles to support safe passenger experiences
- Use the Uber platform to help manage rides and ensure smooth operations
- Assist with real-world testing by following safety procedures and reporting relevant observations
- Work closely with engineering and QA teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
Requirements
- Ability to operate within the downtown Dallas service area
- Strong commitment to safety and following established operating procedures
- Reliable availability for full-time hours or contract scheduling as needed
Compensation
- $25/hour (hourly rate)
