About the Role

Join BrightBee as a School Paraprofessional (Severe). You’ll work in local schools to help students learn, grow, and succeed—either supporting a student one-on-one or assisting in a classroom alongside certified staff. Every day brings new opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

This role includes assignments across partnered school sites in the Bay Area. During the interview, we’ll review available placements and the types of support you may provide.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students with severe needs, including 1:1 assistance when assigned
• Support classroom instruction by working alongside teachers
• Help students stay engaged and progress toward learning goals
• Follow school and program guidelines to support safe, effective learning

Requirements

• Experience working with students who have severe needs is preferred
• Ability to support students in both 1:1 and classroom settings
• Reliability and flexibility to work 2–5 days per week (Monday–Friday)
• Comfort working in a school environment
