About the Role
Sur La Table is seeking a Seasonal Chef Instructor, Savory to serve as the in-store expert and passionate advocate for savory cooking. In this role, you’ll share your culinary knowledge with customers and help create memorable experiences through hands-on instruction and great service.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding, in-store “best in center” service by teaching savory cooking techniques and fundamentals
- Demonstrate cooking methods and product usage to inspire customers
- Support a welcoming, engaging store environment centered on cooking, sharing, and learning
- Assist with behind-the-scenes coordination that helps classes and customer experiences run smoothly
Requirements
- Strong culinary knowledge with the ability to teach cooking fundamentals clearly
- Comfort interacting with customers and answering questions in a friendly, confident manner
- Ability to demonstrate techniques and explain how to apply them at home
- Seasonal availability for the duration of the program
