About the Role
Assort Health is building healthcare that remembers—creating a continuous, personalized conversation for every patient from first symptom through recovery. As we scale rapidly, we’re looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to help strengthen our finance foundation and support fast, high-growth operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
- Manage month-end and close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting.
- Improve accounting controls, documentation, and compliance processes as the company grows.
- Lead and mentor accounting team members, supporting scalable workflows and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting leadership roles (Senior/Manager level).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with close cycles, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with accounting/ERP systems.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment.
