About the Role
As Senior Counsel for Labor and Employment, you’ll provide strategic legal guidance on high-impact employment matters. You will represent Humana entities in complex litigation and administrative proceedings, shaping legal strategy that supports enterprise goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead representation of company entities in employment-related disputes, including discrimination and harassment matters
- Handle wage and hour issues, non-compete disputes, and other labor and employment legal challenges
- Develop and execute legal strategy with minimal supervision, using independent judgment
- Provide counsel that translates long-term business objectives into actionable legal plans
- Mentor and inspire colleagues to strengthen employment law capabilities
Requirements
- Significant experience handling labor and employment litigation and related administrative charges
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and workplace compliance considerations
- Ability to drive decisions independently and manage complex matters effectively
- Excellent legal writing, advocacy, and stakeholder communication skills
