About the Role
Coreforce is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer to help build reliable embedded solutions for public safety technology. In this hybrid role in Atlanta, you’ll contribute to products used by first responders—supporting mission-critical capabilities from the field to the courtroom.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for connected public safety devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and system behavior
- Build, test, and troubleshoot firmware and embedded components across the full development lifecycle
- Optimize performance, reliability, and power/resource usage for production environments
- Support integration with hardware and software systems, including diagnostics and logging
Requirements
- Proven experience building embedded systems and firmware
- Strong fundamentals in C/C++ and embedded software development
- Experience with debugging and validation in real hardware environments
- Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-moving engineering culture
