About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next generation of rugged, American-built SUVs and trucks—combining electrification, digital engineering, and innovation. As a Senior Engineer for Whole Vehicle Issue Management, you’ll help ensure vehicle quality and reliability by driving structured resolution of cross-functional issues across the whole vehicle program.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive whole-vehicle issue intake, triage, and resolution across systems and teams
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely containment, corrective actions, and verification
- Analyze issue trends and root causes to improve processes and reduce repeat findings
- Maintain clear documentation and status tracking for open issues, actions, and outcomes
- Support reviews with engineering, validation, manufacturing, and program leadership
Requirements
- Experience in vehicle engineering, quality engineering, or issue/risk management in an automotive environment
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to connect findings to impacts across multiple vehicle subsystems
- Proficiency with issue tracking, technical documentation, and structured problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills for aligning teams around priorities and closure criteria
- Comfort working in a fast-moving product development environment
