About the Role
CSCI Consulting is seeking a Senior Financial Management Functional Consultant to support a Department of War/Defense (DoW/DoD) financial system implementation initiative. In this role, you’ll apply federal financial management expertise alongside functional business analysis to help define requirements, validate configurations, and support testing and modernization efforts.
Responsibilities
- Translate federal financial management and DoD operational needs into functional system requirements and solutions
- Support requirements development, configuration validation, and test support for financial system deliverables
- Analyze financial data flows across DoD financial systems, including downstream impacts to reporting and operations
- Assist with data analysis, business process improvement, and stakeholder engagement throughout implementation
- Leverage knowledge of GTAS, trading partner reconciliations, DFAS financial processes, and federal reporting requirements
Requirements
- Strong understanding of federal financial management and DoD financial operations
- Experience with DFAS financial processes and federal financial reporting requirements
- Working knowledge of GTAS and trading partner reconciliation concepts
- Demonstrated ability to perform functional business analysis and support system implementation activities
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive validation activities
