About the Role
Join our team to lead complex network deployment work and troubleshoot difficult routing and switching issues across core ISP and data center environments. You’ll work independently to configure, diagnose, and support mission-critical infrastructure while partnering directly with customers when needed.
Responsibilities
- Own hands-on configuration and deployment for large-scale Juniper MX routers (MX480, MX204) and core switching platforms.
- Lead software upgrades and rollout of complex configurations with minimal supervision.
- Drive investigations for intermittent routing and switching incidents, using advanced protocol knowledge such as BGP, OSPF, and/or MPLS.
- Maintain network stability and security by implementing and enforcing network access controls and security policies.
- Support firewall and perimeter security capabilities with preferred experience in Fortinet and/or Cisco firewalls.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in network engineering within service provider and/or data center environments.
- Strong hands-on skills with Juniper MX and core switching technologies.
- Proven troubleshooting experience for complex routing and switching problems.
- Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, and/or MPLS.
- Experience implementing access control and security policies; familiarity with Fortinet and/or Cisco firewalls preferred.
