About the Role
Roku is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with DevOps/SRE experience to help strengthen the infrastructure behind advertising performance. You’ll collaborate with teams across the organization to build reliable, scalable systems that support streaming and advertising experiences at massive scale.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate machine learning services with strong reliability and observability
- Partner with engineering teams to automate infrastructure and improve system performance
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML workloads and supporting services
- Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements to reduce latency and failures
- Collaborate on data and model workflows to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience as a machine learning engineer and/or applied ML practitioner
- Hands-on DevOps or SRE experience (e.g., deployment, operations, monitoring)
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to build production-grade systems
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure and automation tooling
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment
