About the Role
Roku’s Voice team builds voice experiences that help people interact with their TVs naturally and reliably. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll help design and improve machine learning solutions that power our voice assistant capabilities at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize machine learning models for voice assistant features
- Collaborate with engineers and product partners to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Improve model performance through experimentation, evaluation, and iterative refinement
- Contribute to production readiness, including monitoring and reliability improvements
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support data, tooling, and deployment workflows
Requirements
- Strong experience in machine learning with a focus on applied model development
- Proficiency with common ML frameworks and Python-based tooling
- Experience evaluating model quality using metrics and offline/online testing approaches
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-moving engineering environment
