About the Role
Motive empowers teams that run physical operations with tools that improve safety, productivity, and profitability. We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Accounting to help lead critical accounting functions and strengthen financial visibility across our business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting operations to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support month-end and close processes
- Manage accounting policies, controls, and documentation to support audit readiness
- Lead and mentor accounting team members to drive high-quality execution
- Identify process improvements that reduce manual work and enhance reliability
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in accounting, close, and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
- Experience partnering with internal stakeholders and supporting audits
- Advanced analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment
