About the Role
Scout Motors is looking for a Senior Specialist to help strengthen procurement systems and streamline end-to-end purchasing processes. In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to improve how we source, manage, and execute procurement activities—supporting the company’s growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Own and enhance procurement systems to improve usability, reporting, and process efficiency
- Map current procurement workflows and identify opportunities for standardization and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements for new or improved purchasing capabilities
- Support data quality, master data governance, and system integrations as needed
- Analyze procurement performance metrics and help drive actionable improvements
- Document processes, maintain operating procedures, and support user adoption
Requirements
- Experience supporting procurement systems and process improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of procurement workflows, purchasing controls, and operational best practices
- Ability to translate business needs into clear system and process requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with procurement-related data
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions
