About the Role
Roblox is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to help build quality practices from the ground up for the Safety Engineering Group. As the first dedicated QA hire, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we validate and improve the safety of shared experiences at scale.
Responsibilities
- Define and establish QA strategy, processes, and standards for the Safety Engineering Group
- Design and execute test plans to validate safety-related features and improvements
- Collaborate with engineers and product partners to identify risks, define acceptance criteria, and drive quality outcomes
- Develop automated and manual test coverage to support reliable releases
- Analyze defects, track quality metrics, and help drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Strong experience in QA engineering, including test planning and execution
- Proven ability to build QA processes and influence quality practices across a team
- Experience with test automation and integrating tests into development workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on reliability and user impact
- Excellent collaboration skills across engineering and cross-functional partners
