About the Role
Form Energy is building America’s energy future with advanced, cost-effective multi-day energy storage that helps keep the electric grid secure and reliable—even during extended periods of stress. We’re looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to support quality excellence for our pack-level products as we scale manufacturing and deliver to customers.
Responsibilities
- Own quality activities for pack production, supporting stable, repeatable processes.
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconformances, defects, and field/performance issues.
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to define and improve quality requirements, inspection plans, and acceptance criteria.
- Support supplier and incoming quality efforts related to pack components and assemblies.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, reduce variation, and improve yield and reliability.
- Participate in cross-functional reviews, documenting lessons learned and updating standards and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in quality engineering within manufacturing, preferably in hardware, energy, industrial, or related product environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and corrective action leadership.
- Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., CAPA, 8D, SPC, control plans, PFMEA/DFMEA).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings, and test/inspection results.
- Strong collaboration skills across engineering, operations, and production teams.
