About the Role
As a Senior Release Engineer, you’ll be the technical owner of the full release execution lifecycle for the HealthRules® Payer product line. You’ll take an approved release payload and guide it through every stage—branch preparation, regression coordination, distribution synchronization, and final delivery—so customers receive validated maintenance releases on schedule.
You’ll work independently and apply sound judgment while partnering with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Professional Services, Documentation, and Customer Success across US and IST time zones. You’ll also serve as a key technical authority in the Change Control Board process, ensuring release decisions are based on accurate version, branch, and compatibility information.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end release execution, from payload intake through customer-ready delivery
- Prepare and manage release branches and ensure correct versioning and compatibility
- Coordinate regression activities and drive resolution of release-impacting issues
- Synchronize distribution steps to ensure consistent delivery across environments
- Lead release readiness reviews using accurate data and verification results
- Partner cross-functionally to keep releases on track for planned timelines
- Provide technical guidance within the Change Control Board decision process
Requirements
- Strong experience owning software release processes and coordinating cross-team delivery
- Proven ability to manage versioning, branching, and compatibility across environments
- Experience coordinating regression testing and validating release readiness
- Comfort working independently, making judgment calls, and driving timelines
- Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and multiple stakeholders
