About the Role
Rewards Network helps restaurants grow revenue and customer engagement through advanced financial and marketing services, including card-linked offers powered by data and analytics. As a Senior Scala/Python Engineer, you’ll join a collaborative team focused on building reliable, high-impact systems that support loyalty and dining rewards programs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Scala and Python
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics partners to deliver improvements end to end
- Investigate production issues, troubleshoot root causes, and implement durable fixes
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and help set engineering best practices
- Take ownership of deliverables, from requirements through release and monitoring
Requirements
- Strong experience building production services with Scala and/or Python
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, testing, and code quality
- Experience working with data-driven applications and distributed systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a team environment
