About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Scientist to drive development, optimization, and scale-up of AAV manufacturing processes. You’ll work across Sf9/baculovirus and HEK-based systems and contribute to key CMC activities from early characterization through late-stage technology transfer, control strategy development, and regulatory documentation.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and lead AAV process development and optimization studies using Sf9/baculovirus and HEK platforms
- Perform hands-on laboratory experiments to generate critical process data and support technical troubleshooting
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support technology transfer, process characterization, and scale-up planning
- Contribute to development of control strategies and support regulatory documentation as needed
Requirements
- Experience with AAV manufacturing process development and/or CMC activities
- Hands-on laboratory experience working with Sf9/baculovirus and HEK-based expression systems
- Strong technical leadership and ability to collaborate across functions
- Experience generating and interpreting process characterization data
