About the Role
Join our basic science research team as a Senior Research Assistant. You’ll work with limited supervision in a laboratory setting, operating essential equipment, running experimental procedures, and compiling research findings for clinical and diagnostic research efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist with and conduct scientific experiments and research projects of high complexity.
- Collect, evaluate, and interpret research data to support clinical and diagnostic studies.
- Support investigators or higher-level technicians with research studies, experiments, and assays, including data collection, solution preparation, and equipment setup and maintenance.
- Run database queries to retrieve historical data and organize results into spreadsheets for ongoing research use.
- Help supervise and support other Research Assistants by maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe research environment.
Requirements
- Experience working in a basic science research laboratory and performing experimental procedures.
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment and maintain accurate experimental records.
- Comfort using databases and organizing data in spreadsheets for research analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate and interpret experimental results.
