About the Role
Verisign is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help lead efforts that ensure the security, stability, and resilience of internet infrastructure. In this role, you’ll oversee the Linux platform that supports mission-critical services and help scale systems to meet evolving customer and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team responsible for building, operating, and improving Linux infrastructure
- Drive reliability engineering practices to increase uptime, performance, and service resilience
- Collaborate with engineering and operations partners to design scalable systems and operational workflows
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues with a focus on long-term prevention
- Continuously improve automation, tooling, and operational processes
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux infrastructure
- Proven experience in site reliability or operations engineering practices
- Ability to lead technical work and guide others through complex system challenges
- Solid troubleshooting skills for production environments
