About the Role
Sophos is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help strengthen AI-driven security capabilities. You’ll contribute to products that use machine learning, automation, and real-time threat intelligence to improve detection and response for organizations worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and improve software components that support AI security and threat detection workflows
- Collaborate with security, data, and engineering teams to translate threat intelligence into reliable product features
- Develop scalable services and systems that support continuous monitoring and response
- Contribute to engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, and maintainable architecture
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience with modern programming languages and production systems
- Experience building or integrating machine learning–enabled security features
- Solid understanding of security concepts and threat detection/response principles
- Ability to collaborate across teams and deliver high-quality software in an agile environment
