Senior Software Engineer, Web (Remote/Hybrid Options) | Accessibility & Performance

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Web Software Engineer to design, build, and continuously improve responsive, accessible web applications. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to translate product needs into high-quality user experiences, while helping drive performance, scalability, and reliability across production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement interactive, responsive web applications using modern technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that follows established engineering standards
• Develop and run test cases to validate functionality and ensure accessibility requirements are met
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to provide technical guidance and shape the product roadmap
• Investigate and resolve issues reported by users and QA teams in a timely manner
• Conduct regular code reviews to uphold quality, maintainability, and best practices
• Evaluate and adopt emerging web frameworks and technologies to improve performance and scalability
• Support deployment and ongoing maintenance to maintain high availability and continuous improvement in production

Requirements

• Strong experience building web applications with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience delivering accessible user experiences and validating accessibility through testing
• Proficiency with automated testing practices to ensure reliability and correct behavior
• Solid understanding of code quality practices, including documentation and code reviews
• Ability to troubleshoot production and QA-reported issues and drive them to resolution
• Experience with modern web frameworks and performance/scalability optimization
