About the Role
Join SpaceX’s launch pad development team to help design, build, and activate a second orbital launch pad and supporting infrastructure for Starship. You’ll collaborate with a cross-disciplinary group of engineers and partners to advance orbital launch capability for the world’s most powerful rocket.
This role is based in Starbase, Texas (Brownsville/South Padre Island area).
Responsibilities
- Lead the project team and coordinate with consulting engineers and contractors across the full lifecycle of civil and structural engineering
- Oversee procurement, construction, and commissioning activities for launch pad and ancillary infrastructure
- Drive technical direction to ensure structural designs meet project requirements and safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience leading structural engineering efforts for large-scale, mission-critical facilities
- Strong knowledge of civil/structural design principles and construction/commissioning processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines and with external partners
