DoD Secret Clearance
About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Systems Security (Cybersecurity) Engineer to support mission-focused systems in an onsite environment in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role requires an active, existing DoD Secret clearance on day one, with eligibility to be transferred as needed.
Responsibilities
- Work with program stakeholders to help secure complex systems across software, hardware, and engineering disciplines
- Coordinate with government customers, approving authorities, and internal program teams to move security efforts forward
- Support security certification activities and documentation needed for system approval
- Assess security requirements and help ensure solutions align with applicable policies and standards
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret security clearance (required on day one) and ability to maintain eligibility
- U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility
- Experience working on systems security or cybersecurity for complex technical environments
- Strong ability to collaborate across engineering teams and security stakeholders
