About the Role

Scout Motors is looking for a Senior Vehicle Commissioning Systems Engineer to help bring our next-generation electrified vehicles to life. In this role, you’ll support the commissioning of vehicle systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and quality expectations across our powertrain and vehicle architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Own and support vehicle commissioning activities for integrated vehicle systems
  • Develop commissioning procedures, test plans, and validation approaches
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and drive corrective actions
  • Review system requirements and translate them into commissioning and verification steps
  • Document results, track defects, and support release readiness activities

Requirements

  • Experience with vehicle systems commissioning, validation, or test engineering
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across embedded, electrical, and control systems
  • Working knowledge of test planning, data analysis, and verification methodologies
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical findings clearly
  • Senior-level experience delivering commissioning outcomes in a fast-moving engineering environment
