About the Role
Scout Motors is looking for a Senior Vehicle Commissioning Systems Engineer to help bring our next-generation electrified vehicles to life. In this role, you’ll support the commissioning of vehicle systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and quality expectations across our powertrain and vehicle architecture.
Responsibilities
- Own and support vehicle commissioning activities for integrated vehicle systems
- Develop commissioning procedures, test plans, and validation approaches
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and drive corrective actions
- Review system requirements and translate them into commissioning and verification steps
- Document results, track defects, and support release readiness activities
Requirements
- Experience with vehicle systems commissioning, validation, or test engineering
- Strong troubleshooting skills across embedded, electrical, and control systems
- Working knowledge of test planning, data analysis, and verification methodologies
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical findings clearly
- Senior-level experience delivering commissioning outcomes in a fast-moving engineering environment
