About the Role
Samsara is seeking a Senior Workday Analyst to support Compensation & Benefits operations using the Workday platform. In this role, you’ll help ensure HR data and configuration support accurate pay, benefits, and reporting—enabling teams to run compensation programs smoothly at scale.
Responsibilities
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to understand Compensation & Benefits requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday functionality related to compensation, benefits, and related integrations.
- Support testing and release activities, including documentation of changes and system behavior.
- Analyze data and workflows to identify gaps, improve processes, and recommend system enhancements.
- Monitor system health and resolve issues to maintain accurate and timely HR/payroll-related outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience as a Workday Analyst with a focus on Compensation and/or Benefits.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and how they map to Workday configuration.
- Ability to gather requirements, document solutions, and support cross-functional testing.
- Comfort working with HR data, reporting needs, and troubleshooting complex system issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners.
