About the Role
Continental is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to help keep our operations running smoothly in Van Buren, MI. In this role, you’ll oversee the movement of goods in and out of our facility while supporting reliable, high-quality service for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate, timely deliveries
- Coordinate with internal teams to support production and service schedules
- Verify incoming shipments for quality, quantity, and documentation completeness
- Manage inventory movements and maintain organized receiving/shipping areas
- Ensure proper labeling, packing, and shipment preparation according to established procedures
- Support continuous improvement to reduce errors, delays, and waste
Requirements
- Supervisory experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, or logistics
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork and inventory
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize competing tasks
- Comfort working with basic logistics tools and tracking processes
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and clean, organized work areas
