About the Role
IEM is seeking a Site Controller to lead the accounting function in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll partner with operations and cross-functional teams to support accurate financial reporting, strong project execution, and clear communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistent month-end execution
- Collaborate with internal teams and operations to support project accounting and operational reporting needs
- Help ensure timely and accurate financial information for stakeholders
- Maintain strong internal controls and support audit readiness
- Support process improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of accounting operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a controller, accounting lead, or similar finance/accounting role
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and experience partnering with cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of compliance and internal controls
