About the Role
Verisign is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to help ensure the security, stability, and resiliency of internet infrastructure. In this role, you’ll support the engineering team responsible for building, operating, deploying, and protecting mission-critical services that power the DNS ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable systems that support core internet services
- Deploy and operate services with a strong focus on performance and uptime
- Improve service resilience through monitoring, incident response, and post-incident learnings
- Contribute to the security and hardening of production environments
- Collaborate with engineering peers to automate processes and reduce operational toil
Requirements
- Strong systems engineering background with practical experience operating production services
- Solid troubleshooting skills and a detail-oriented approach to reliability and craftsmanship
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly during incidents
