About the Role
Perryman Construction Services is seeking an experienced Site and Utility Construction Foreman to lead day-to-day operations on active job sites in Lewiston, Maine. You’ll supervise crews, coordinate with project leadership, and help keep projects moving safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and mentor crew members and subcontractors to support productivity and team morale
- Plan and coordinate daily task schedules, workflows, and jobsite priorities
- Enforce OSHA safety requirements, run toolbox talks, and ensure proper PPE usage
- Inspect completed and in-progress work to confirm it aligns with project plans and specifications
- Interpret plans, coordinate materials, and communicate progress and needs with your PM
- Act as the primary liaison between the crew, project managers, and owner representatives
Requirements
- Proven experience leading site and/or utility construction crews
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety practices and jobsite compliance
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Experience coordinating materials, schedules, and daily production on active projects
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
