About the Role
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to help connect advanced software and cyber capabilities across space systems. In the Information Systems and Cyber Division (ISCD), you’ll work at the intersection of modern information technologies—such as containerization, microservices, and elastic compute—with expertise in cyber security, software architecture, and software engineering.
Responsibilities
- Integrate software components and services across distributed environments
- Support system integration efforts involving cloud, containers, and microservices
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align architectures with operational and security needs
- Contribute to software engineering practices that improve reliability, performance, and maintainability
- Assist with visualization and data-driven workflows where applicable
Requirements
- Experience integrating software systems in modern distributed or cloud-based environments
- Strong understanding of software architecture and software engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with containerization and microservices concepts
- Working knowledge of cyber security considerations in software systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams
