About the Role
Ace IT Careers is seeking a Software Test Engineer to help ensure the quality of web applications, APIs, databases, and integrated business systems. You’ll partner with product owners, developers, business analysts, and QA teammates across the full development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute functional, regression, and validation testing for web and API-based features
- Investigate defects, analyze root causes, and document findings clearly for the team
- Translate requirements into effective test coverage and measurable acceptance criteria
- Verify data integrity and validate end-to-end behavior across integrated systems
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve quality practices
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in software testing, QA, or a related role
- Working knowledge of SDLC/STLC, Agile, Scrum, and defect-management workflows
- Experience creating and executing functional and regression test cases
- Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar test/issue management tools
