About the Role
AtriCure is seeking a Sourcing Project Engineer to support sourcing and supplier activities for medical device programs. In this role, you’ll help drive successful procurement outcomes by partnering with cross-functional teams and ensuring suppliers meet project needs.
Responsibilities
- Support sourcing strategy and supplier selection for assigned projects and components
- Coordinate technical and commercial inputs across engineering, quality, and operations
- Manage supplier communication to support project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Track and drive resolution of sourcing-related issues, including requirements and change impacts
- Assist with documentation and reporting for sourcing activities and program status
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on specifications, risks, and next steps
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience in a technical role
- Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Strong project coordination and follow-through skills
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and support sourcing decisions
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
