About the Role
SpaceX is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support our Texas Test Operations team by sourcing test hardware and equipment used to develop and validate critical systems. In this role, you’ll help drive value and strengthen supplier partnerships through proactive sourcing and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Source and qualify test hardware and equipment in support of Texas Test Operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, specifications, and timelines
- Identify potential suppliers and develop sourcing strategies to meet program needs
- Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers to support delivery, cost, and quality objectives
- Support supplier performance improvements to strengthen the overall supply chain
- Manage procurement activities with a fast-paced, results-driven mindset
Requirements
- Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles
- Ability to evaluate suppliers and drive improvements in partnership and performance
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Comfort working in a high-urgency environment and managing shifting priorities
- Experience sourcing technical hardware and equipment is preferred
