About the Role
Vista Norte Public Charter School is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support online students. This hybrid role includes in-person support as needed at a designated school site in the Greater Los Angeles, Inland Empire, or High Desert area based on organizational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide special education instruction and support for students enrolled in online programming
- Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to support student learning goals
- Support implementation of IEPs and related accommodations
- Maintain a student-centered approach aligned with the school’s mission
Requirements
- Appropriate credential level for the role (Clear, Preliminary, or Intern credential)
- Experience working with students who have special education needs (as applicable to credential level)
- Commitment to supporting students consistently and effectively
Compensation & Benefits
- Clear Credential: $81,885–$103,721/year plus a $16,000 sign-on bonus
- Preliminary Credential: $70,967/year plus a $16,000 sign-on bonus
- Intern Credential: $68,128.32/year plus a $3,500 sign-on bonus
- IEP Stipend: $4,000/year
- Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
