About the Role
Catholic Charities of Baltimore is hiring a Special Education Teacher (Provisional, I or II) for Villa Maria School. This is a 12-month, non-public special education role supporting students with significant emotional, behavioral, and learning needs.
You will create and deliver instruction within your assigned grade level and/or content area, helping students build academic skills as well as social-emotional growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized instructional plans aligned to student needs
- Support students’ educational progress and social-emotional development
- Teach in a structured 12-month program for kindergarten through 8th grade
- Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Requirements
- Special Education Teacher certification status as Provisional, I, or II
- Experience or training working with students who have emotional, behavioral, and learning support needs
- Ability to plan instruction and support student progress in a small classroom setting
Benefits
- Starting salary: $59,740 per year (based on education and experience)
