Senior IBM ODM Developer (Business Rules Engineering) - Onsite 5 Days

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior IBM ODM Developer to lead the design, development, and ongoing support of software solutions for a Lending Digital Payment Platform. In this role, you will take ownership of the Business Rules Engine (BRE) rule lifecycle and build Java/Spring Boot APIs that connect decisioning logic with enterprise data sources.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the BRE rule portfolio, including rule sets for payment eligibility, validation, and execution decisioning
• Translate business policies into executable rules by eliciting requirements and clarifying rule intent
• Develop and deliver Java/Spring Boot APIs that integrate decisioning with enterprise systems and data
• Partner with product, architecture, engineering, QA, and operations to ensure services are secure, resilient, and maintainable
• Provide technical guidance to peers through standards, code and rule reviews, and testing best practices
• Drive engineering craftsmanship by promoting modern delivery practices, quality gates, and consistent execution

Requirements

• Experience leading business rules engineering using IBM ODM (or equivalent decisioning/rules platforms)
• Strong Java development experience, including building and maintaining Spring Boot APIs
• Experience integrating decisioning services with enterprise data sources
• Demonstrated ability to review and improve code/rule quality and testing discipline
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, QA, operations, and product teams
