About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next generation of iconic American vehicles—electrified, digitized, and powered by innovation. We’re looking for a Staff iOS Software Engineer to help create high-quality mobile experiences that support our customers and vehicle ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain iOS applications used by customers and internal teams
- Lead technical direction for iOS features, performance improvements, and reliability
- Collaborate with product, backend, and cross-platform partners to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, architecture guidance, and best practices
- Improve app quality through testing, instrumentation, and continuous refinement
Requirements
- Strong professional experience building iOS applications with Swift
- Deep understanding of iOS architecture, performance, and memory management
- Experience with API integration and working knowledge of modern mobile networking patterns
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence engineering decisions
- Strong collaboration skills across multiple teams and disciplines
