About the Role
Join Global Cyber Security (GCS) as a Staff Perimeter Defense Engineer reporting to Defensive Engineering leadership. You will own the strategy, architecture, and engineering for perimeter security capabilities that protect enterprise networks, internet-facing services, applications, and remote access environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve perimeter defense strategy, architectures, and security controls
- Design, implement, and improve security capabilities for external threat prevention and detection
- Partner with engineering and security teams to harden internet-facing systems and remote access
- Drive technology selection, standards, and engineering best practices across perimeter defenses
- Assess security risks, identify gaps, and guide remediation plans to strengthen defensive posture
- Support continuous improvement through documentation, tuning, and operational readiness
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and engineering perimeter security solutions
- Working knowledge of network and application security for internet-facing environments
- Experience with security architecture and threat modeling for external attack scenarios
- Proficiency with security tooling and controls used in defensive engineering
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical decisions clearly
