About the Role
Join our Global Cyber Security organization as a Staff Perimeter Defense Engineer reporting into Defensive Engineering leadership. You will own the strategy, architecture, and engineering of perimeter security capabilities designed to protect enterprise networks, internet-facing services, applications, and remote access environments.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve perimeter defense strategy, reference architectures, and security control designs
- Lead engineering efforts to improve protection for external-facing systems and remote access pathways
- Collaborate with security, engineering, and operations teams to reduce exposure to emerging threats
- Drive implementation of security capabilities that strengthen the organization’s defensive posture
- Assess and improve the effectiveness of perimeter controls through continuous monitoring and tuning
Requirements
- Strong background in perimeter security, network security, and threat mitigation for internet-facing environments
- Experience designing and implementing security architecture and engineering controls
- Ability to translate security requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and security stakeholders
