About the Role
Aurora is building self-driving technology to make mobility and logistics safer, faster, and more accessible. In the Services Engineering organization, you’ll help create full-stack solutions—spanning backend services, web and mobile applications, and real-time onboard code—so autonomous vehicle fleets can operate commercially at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and scale core services that support autonomous fleet operations
- Build and improve backend systems and APIs used across the platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software end to end
- Drive engineering best practices around quality, performance, and maintainability
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with experience building production services
- Proficiency in modern backend development and distributed systems concepts
- Experience collaborating across teams to deliver complex systems reliably
- Ability to grow technical depth while mentoring and raising the bar for the team
