About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next chapter of an iconic American legacy—electrifying, digitizing, and innovating with purpose. We’re seeking a Staff Technical Product Manager to lead workshop operations product initiatives that improve how teams build, maintain, and deliver vehicles. You’ll translate operational needs into technical product strategies and drive execution across cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and roadmap for workshop operations capabilities, aligning business goals with technical execution.
- Define requirements, user stories, and success metrics for tooling, workflows, and operational systems.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and program teams to deliver improvements end-to-end.
- Manage prioritization tradeoffs across reliability, usability, scalability, and time-to-value.
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement using data, feedback, and operational insights.
- Coordinate releases and change management to ensure smooth adoption in workshop environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a technical product manager (or equivalent) delivering complex, system-driven products.
- Strong understanding of operational workflows and the ability to translate them into technical requirements.
- Experience working with engineering teams in agile environments.
- Ability to evaluate technical options and communicate tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders.
- Comfort using data to measure outcomes and guide roadmap decisions.
