About the Role
Scout Motors is building the next generation of rugged, electrified vehicles—honoring American heritage while advancing electric and software-driven innovation. We’re looking for a Steering System E/E & Software Engineer to help develop steering-related electronic and software systems that support performance, safety, and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate steering system electronics and embedded software components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support system validation through testing, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements.
- Contribute to architecture, interface definitions, and documentation for steering E/E and software.
- Assist with issue resolution during integration, calibration, and verification activities.
Requirements
- Experience working on automotive E/E systems and embedded software development.
- Knowledge of steering system fundamentals and related control/communication concepts.
- Proficiency with debugging and validation practices for embedded systems.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in a fast-moving engineering environment.
