About the Role
Join AoPS Academy as a Summer Language Arts Instructor and help advanced learners build strong reading, writing, and communication skills. You’ll lead small classes in a supportive, engaging environment where students learn through collaboration and active participation.
Responsibilities
- Teach using AoPS Academy–created curriculum and materials for advanced students
- Facilitate student-led learning and keep lessons interactive
- Manage classroom instruction effectively with up to 16 students
- Grade tests and assignments and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families
- Motivate learners to stay curious, confident, and engaged
Requirements
- Passion for Language Arts and working with students
- Experience or comfort leading instruction in a classroom setting
- Strong communication and feedback skills
- Ability to manage a small-group learning environment
