About the Role
Join the North Dakota National Guard as a Supervisory IT Specialist in a Title 32 Excepted Service position. In this role, you will serve as the Deputy Chief Information Officer and act as the key point of contact for the State National Guard’s IT requirements and priorities, including cybersecurity and privacy programs, enterprise architecture, software application and development, capital planning and investment, and infrastructure and telecommunications support.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT activities to support appropriate system design, development, deployment, and security for infrastructure and support systems.
- Oversee IT network operations and maintain visibility into the inventory of software and hardware.
- Define IT goals, objectives, plans, and performance measures for services aligned to Department of Defense and Department of the Army/Air requirements.
- Coordinate and prioritize State National Guard technology initiatives to ensure they meet mission needs and security expectations.
Requirements
- Experience supervising or leading IT programs, services, or teams.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy program principles.
- Background supporting enterprise architecture, software application development, and infrastructure/telecommunications systems.
- Ability to manage IT performance metrics, planning, and investment priorities.
