About the Role

Join NAVSUP FLT Logistics as a Supply Technician supporting the Jacksonville logistics center. In this role, you’ll manage ordering and inventory needs for provisions, including fresh fruits and vegetables, while ensuring quantities align with customer demand and product shelf life.

Responsibilities

  • Place orders for provisions and fresh produce, determining appropriate quantities using order history, customer requests, shelf life, and forecasting
  • Maintain supply and inventory databases by verifying outstanding dues for validity
  • Identify and report large pricing discrepancies found in MSIR and notify the appropriate teams
  • Monitor low-demand items and determine when to remove or replenish stock, updating the stock system with new products as needed
  • Support customers, supervisors, vendors, and internal stakeholders with inquiries related to invoices, receiving, and issues of materials
  • Escalate serious inventory discrepancies, gaps, or issues to inventory managers or supervisors

Requirements

  • Experience working in logistics, supply, or inventory support
  • Strong attention to detail to validate pricing, invoices, and inventory records
  • Ability to research discrepancies and respond to inquiries from multiple stakeholder groups
  • Comfort using databases or inventory systems to maintain accurate records
