About the Role
Rebecca School supports students ages 3–21 with neurodevelopmental delays using the DIRFloortime® model. We’re guided by respect, meaningful relationships, and emotional growth—helping students build connection, communication, and independence. As a Teacher Assistant, you’ll collaborate with teachers and therapists to support students’ daily learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Partner with classroom teachers and therapists to support students with neurodevelopmental and related needs
- Help implement instructional plans and support students during classroom activities
- Assist in creating engaging learning experiences that promote communication and emotional regulation
- Support students in building independence through consistent, individualized guidance
- Contribute to a positive, team-based classroom environment through communication and organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or college coursework in education, psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with children or young adults with developmental differences
- Ability to follow instructional plans and provide classroom support
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
