About the Role
ACR (a nonprofit enterprise of Winrock International) is seeking a Technical Manager to support review and technical oversight for a mine methane capture greenhouse gas emissions reduction program. In this role, you will help ensure strong, science-based methodology application and high-quality carbon crediting outcomes within both compliance and voluntary markets.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess mine methane capture project documentation for technical completeness and methodological alignment
- Support the application of ACR’s science-based methodologies and carbon accounting standards
- Coordinate with internal technical teams and stakeholders to resolve questions and improve review outcomes
- Contribute to continuous improvements of program guidance, review processes, and technical documentation
- Help maintain clear, audit-ready technical records throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Demonstrated technical knowledge related to greenhouse gas emissions reduction projects, with familiarity in industrial or energy-related project types
- Experience reviewing technical materials and translating requirements into actionable recommendations
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for evaluating data, assumptions, and methodological compliance
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams in a hybrid or remote environment
