About the Role
Microsoft is looking for a Technical Program Manager II to join the Finance Data & Experiences (FD&E) organization. You will lead strategic reporting modernization and business transformation efforts across Microsoft Finance, using modern data and analytics to improve how teams make decisions.
You’ll own end-to-end delivery for complex programs that modernize financial reporting, automate key business processes, and simplify reporting experiences for stakeholders. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership across Finance, Engineering, Data Platform, and Business Operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end execution of complex, cross-functional programs from planning through delivery
- Define program vision, align stakeholders, and manage tradeoffs across technical and business teams
- Modernize financial reporting experiences using data, automation, and analytics solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enable measurable business outcomes
- Coordinate with engineering and data platform teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption
- Communicate progress, risks, and results to leadership with clear, actionable updates
Requirements
- Strong program management experience delivering complex technical initiatives
- Technical fluency with data/analytics concepts and the ability to partner effectively with engineers
- Solid business acumen and experience translating business goals into execution plans
- Proven stakeholder management and influence across multiple teams
- Experience improving reporting, operational workflows, or finance transformation initiatives
